Accel Research Sites honored with inaugural Inno Fire Award, named category Blazer

Accel Research Sites prides itself on staying on the cutting edge of the medical field through clinical trials.

Now, the company has been honored for being on the cutting edge of business in Central Florida.

Accel Research Sites was named a winner of the first ever Inno Fire Awards by Orlando Inno and the Orlando Business Journal.

The company was also honored at the top of its category as an industry Blazer. The Fire Awards recognize the companies and organizations “setting the local innovation economy ablaze”. The honorees were selected by the Orlando Inno editorial team based on overall growth, innovative methods, funding rounds, product launches and social impact.

“Innovation is one of our core values at Accel Research Sites,” said Lora Parahovnik, CEO. “We have worked hard during the pandemic to not only move our business forward, but to do good for the entire world through COVID-19 vaccine trials. It’s an incredible honor for our entire team to be called out among our business peers in Central Florida.”

The inaugural awards honored 25 companies based in Central Florida in five groups based on number of years in business. Accel Research Sites was honored in the Ecosystem Veterans category. One honoree per category was additionally recognized as the Inno Blazer, or the group that has made the biggest contribution to the ecosystem.

The Inno Fire Awards ceremony took place Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the Citrus Club in Orlando.

Accel Research Sites is a leading multi-therapeutic network of clinical research sites. The company works with some of the leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies in the world to provide exceptional performance in clinical trials with the goal of advancing healthcare.
