Involuntary Shaking in Hands
Description
Are you or a loved one struggling with Essential Tremor? Essential Tremor (ET) is the involuntary, rhythmic shaking of the body, especially in the hands and upper limbs. This tremor can make daily tasks, such as tying your shoes, writing, or drinking a struggle.
Help Advance Essential Tremor Treatment
Doctors at Accel Research Sites in Birmingham are studying an investigational medication to see if it helps reduce upper limb ET in adults who experience for at least a year persistent tremor in hands and forearms during movement.
If you or a loved one are 19 or older and have Essential Tremor, you or they may qualify for this important study.
Participate at No Cost to You
Study participants will receive the investigational medication and study-related care at no cost. Health insurance is not required.
Participants may receive compensation for travel for completing all study visits.
