Smoking Alternative Study
Do you smoke cigarettes and have been diagnosed with COPD?
A local research study is now enrolling adults with chronic bronchitis symptoms (cough and sputum)
or COPD willing to switch from conventional cigarettes to Tobacco Heating Systems.
An individual may qualify for the study if they:
- Are between 40 and 65 years of age;
- Have been smoking cigarettes for at least 10 years;
- Smoke a minimum of 10 cigarettes a day for at least the last year;
- Have experienced cough and sputum (symptoms of chronic bronchitis) over the past year OR
have been diagnosed with mild-to-moderate COPD; and - Meet additional study criteria.
